The 12 Steps From Life To Eagle
The following 12 steps have been outlined to ensure a smooth procedure for the Scout, the unit leadership, the local council, and the volunteers who are to conduct the board of review.

Eagle Service Project
There is a required service project to earn your Eagle Scout while a life scout, plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to your community. It must be approved by the organization benefiting from the effort, the scoutmaster, troop committee, and council.

Eagle Recommendation Letters
There are required letters to earn your Eagle Scout they are: parent letter, educator letter, clergy letter, and two adult friends letters. If you are employed, you will also need a letter from your employer. Attached are the suggested guidelines for these letters.
The last file is reference material to be handed out to each person.

Eagle Scout Application
The Eagle Scout application form needs to be filled out after all requirements have been completed. This form can be filled out and signed after the scout's 18th birthday, but all requirements must be done before his 18th birthday.
